Golden Globes
Hey everyone
just visiting IMDB.COM and found out there is going to be the Golden Globe this Sunday.
Golden Globe is an annual ceremony to value and choose the best of the entertainment business.
I can't wait to see who and what films are going to win especially my favorite actress, Sandra Bullock, who is nominated for two roles of hers in a comedy, The proposal, and in a drama, The blind side.
yeah, that's finally my favorite actress
everybody knows that I really like Will Smith and Al Pacino but never mentioned the name of an actress as my favorite, but after watching several movies of Bullock I say that she could be and her 2 nominations can prove I was right.
her performances in both comedy and Drama are absolutely amazing and I hope she wins it for she deserves that.

Afghan Star
on the way back home this evening, I was talking to my friends and the story of the most popular TV show in Afghanistan came up, Afghan star, which is actually a talent show and very everyday people would go there and during almost a year of very intensive competition judges and people, both together, choose the Aghan Star...
during the program, the whole country is influenced by the star-to-bes and lots of young boys and girls look forward to becoming a star and totally change their future since music is a important matter in my country.
so, after talking about the memories of the season last year, I really felt like listening to all those songs again and remember all those good memories of my favorite contestants, Navid Saberpour and Elahe Soroor.
Navid Saberpour has, by far, been the best Afghan Star ever in almost everybody's opinion for his perfect performances (although he was unfairly came in third!)
the system of the show is to drop one contestant every weekend by the Votes of the people which are sent by SMS and it was so obvious that there was some plans to make somebody else the Star.
I never forget that evening when everybody was watching it, and I was standing, actually leaning against the wall, and it was the semi final stage and everybody was waiting to see who would be the next contestant to drop.
I can say it for sure that nobody believed it when the host announced the name of NAVID SABERPOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to leave the show
I clearly remember the 5-6 minutes of silence in the living room, I found everybody just staring at the TV saying absolutely nothing and then everybody just left the living room
I heard same situation, the silence, was going on in almost every house watching this episode... it was just that nobody could believe what they were witnessing, the best contestant of all periods of Afghan star just came in third!!!
and I'd never forget what Mr. Rameshgar, the main judge, said about Navid Saberpor...
"Navid saberpour came in third, but for me, he is the Afghan Star".
Now, I'm listening to the songs by Navid Saberpor and enjoy remembering all the memories last year and writing this entry...

The Prestige
having had a tough day of translating, which is a pain in the neck for me, I decided to dedicate the whole afternoon and evening watching movies and as a matter of fact that's another pain for the fact that I'm a little tooooooo fussy choosing a movie to watch. you can ask all those movies I've left halfway through
.it's been long that I was intending to watch the movie "The Prestige" by Christopher Nolan and today, I finally did it and never regret.
the movie was great as expected since it was directed by Nolan who happens to be my favorite director of all time, directing movies such as "memento", "insomnia", "Batman begins" and "The dark knight" (my favorite movie of all time)
all movies are great and just found out he's got a new movie called "Inception" starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
I like the cast for his movies, Nolan is type of a person who knows who he needs for his roles and he always chooses the best.
let's get back to "the prestige", I really liked the performance by two superstars of the 2000s, Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale along with always great Michael Caine (I like his accent really much)
the storyline was great and I never felt bored and with all the rivalry and surprises, I couldn't take my eyes off the monitor for even a second...
so, if you are interested in watching a good film, I strongly recommend this one
The IE-Incompatibility of the blog!

was just monkeying around with the blog template and stuff 
I just found out that my blog is IE-incompatible. it ain't my fault, though. (things just fall apart in IE!)
I've designed the whole thing, but it's just that I seriously doubt if anybody, today, is using IE (Internet Explorer, for the ones who don't know) anymore.

you know guys (who still use IE), please do yourselves a favor and download and install the latest version of Mozilla FireFox (just google it) and then come back and enjoy the real web surfing.
you just have no idea what you've been depriving yourselves from, I mean FireFox.
anyways, I was going to replace that irritating song with one everyone can enjoy
, so I just did it, and here you can enjoy it but not on Firefox, you gotta go back to IE to listen, and once you do it is enough.
I promise I'll do something for that problem as well.

It's been so long I've not written anything, FYI. ever since I got acquainted with the Internet, I've been blogging about different subjects ranging from computer to English and even Web designing . yeah, I did.
and for a little while, I started bloggin' myself in English but stopped again. don' remember why, (don' ask...)
I just felt like writing again few days ago and here is the story:
